This Privacy Policy describes how Zain Ul Abideen (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Diabetic Vitamix Recipes mobile application and the promotional website at diabetic.zainanjum.site (together, the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
Account & profile
When you create or sign in to an account, we may collect:
- Name and email address
- Authentication identifiers and account status
- Profile preferences and app settings you choose
App activity
To operate core features, we may process:
- Favorites, collections, grocery list items, and planned meals
- Unlocked or accessed recipes and related product interaction data
- Nutrition goals and tracker entries you save in the app
- Optional community or review content you submit
Device & diagnostics
- Device identifiers needed for app functionality, security, and (where applicable) advertising
- Crash, performance, and diagnostic information to keep the Service reliable
- Basic technical logs from website or API requests (for example IP address, timestamps, and user agent)

Our promotional website primarily provides information about the app, Privacy Policy, Terms, and support. It may process standard server logs and cookies required for security and session integrity.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, sync, and improve recipe, planning, grocery, and tracker features
- Authenticate accounts and restore your data across devices where supported
- Verify premium entitlements and manage subscription-related access
- Respond to support, privacy, and account deletion requests
- Protect against abuse, fraud, and technical issues
- Comply with applicable law and App Store requirements
3. Health & nutrition data
Diabetic Vitamix Recipes may allow you to view estimated nutrition values and optionally log personal notes such as water intake, calories/macros progress, or blood sugar readings.
- These features are for personal wellness tracking and meal inspiration only.
- The app is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- If Apple Health / HealthKit integration is enabled on your device, related health data is typically accessed with your permission and handled according to Apple’s HealthKit rules; we do not use HealthKit data for advertising or sale.
- Always follow guidance from your clinician or registered dietitian for diabetes care decisions.
4. Sharing & service providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with trusted processors who help us operate the Service, such as:
- Cloud hosting and backend infrastructure
- Analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring
- Authentication, email delivery, and customer support tooling
- Subscription verification partners (for example RevenueCat) and Apple
- Advertising partners when ads are shown (see below)
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
5. Advertising
The free experience may include third-party advertising (for example Google AdMob). Advertising partners may collect device identifiers and advertising data that is not linked to your identity in the same way as your account profile. You can limit ad tracking using iOS privacy settings (such as App Tracking Transparency prompts and system-level controls).
6. Purchases & subscriptions
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We receive entitlement and purchase-status information needed to unlock premium features. We do not receive your full payment card number. Manage billing, cancellation, and refunds in your App Store account settings or via Apple Support.
7. Retention, security & deletion
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
You may update certain information in the app. To request account deletion or ask privacy questions, email support@zainanjum.site. You can also use in-app account deletion where available (Profile / Settings). We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. International users
The Service may be operated from servers located in different countries. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in locations that may have different data-protection laws than your home country.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
